The automotive industry is currently undergoing a huge technological, qualitative, and digital transformation. Vehicles are becoming connected and highly autonomous, equipped with devices containing software components and electronic control units. All this requires specific expertise and the adaptation of curricula to the requirements and needs of the workplace and the market for new products. It is not possible to create a high level of education that takes into account the needs of the labour market without the participation of workplaces, which must work closely with schools to provide the necessary information and knowledge about current trends, new technologies, technical and digital progress in industry, and various fields of economic activity. The aim of this project was to create a model of cooperation between schools and workplaces that will enable continuous improvement in the quality of teaching and its adaptation to industry requirements. This model will include a description of the necessary activities, procedures, instructions, contract templates, etc., to create a framework for permanent cooperation between vocational schools and workplaces. The creation of the model and its application by schools and workplaces will allow for the continuous assessment and verification of students’ knowledge and skills and will enable ongoing modifications and changes to curricula, thereby improving the quality of teaching and adapting curricula to the needs of the automotive industry. In view of the technological transformation taking place in the automotive industry towards e-mobility and zero emissions, particular emphasis will be placed on combating climate change and building an ecological approach, awareness, and actions contributing to friendly and sustainable development.

The aim of this project is to create a model of cooperation between schools and workplaces that would enable continuous improvement in the quality of teaching and its adaptation to industry requirements. The result of the project is a brochure containing a model of cooperation between a vocational school and industry, published in three languages.
