Wednesday 23 March 2022 took place the first EACN Coffee Break. About 20 colleagues from EACN members across Europe discussed the impact of the Russian invasion in Ukraine on the European automotive industry and on their members.
Olga Trofymova, Cluster Manager of the Ukrainian Automotive & Mobility Cluster and co-coordinator of the EU Clusters Support Ukraine on ECCP, presented key figures and key players of the Ukrainian automotive industry prior to the invasion. She informed the participants that most of the companies in the western part of Ukraine are again operational and restarted sending wire harnesses and other products to their customers. Main need today is about materials to ensure production and employment.
